WELCOME TO LIGHTHOUSE
Thank you for your interest in Lighthouse Community School. We are an independent, not-for-profit private Christian school dedicated to serving the academic, spiritual, and developmental needs of students in Preschool - 5th grade . We believe that the Bible is the final authoritative guide for faith and conduct, and we desire to incorporate the truths presented in the word of God into all aspects of our program.
We want to help families by providing a high quality education that is both academically challenging and faithful to a Biblical view of the world. In support of this goal we will employ only well qualified teachers, engaging curriculum, and purposeful daily lesson plans that will prepare students for life and learning.
We also want to help parents build character in their children with Bible lessons and activities. We come alongside parents in helping them to make disciples who obey what Jesus has commanded (Matthew 28:20). The school does not seek to take the place of the home or replace the role of a church family. Instead it seeks to support both in fulfilling their callings.
Furthermore, we expect that students will have fun, make friends, and enjoy school. Students, parents, and staff members in our community are expected to support our statement of Christian beliefs and to exhibit Christ-like character, integrity, language, behavior, and respect toward others.
